Our attractive holiday accommodation has been created by the lovingly and painstaking renovation of a large XVII century estate , near the ancient Sanctuary of Santa Maria in Valle, the origins of which date back to the late Middle Ages. The historic farmhouse, divided into one cottage and four large apartments, is set on a panoramic position on the gentle slopes that descend towards the Arno river.
Excellent location since is central and close to all the major art cities of Tuscany and Umbria.
A large garden equipped with tables, chairs, and canopies, with (7 x 12 metres) swimming pool surrounds the compound. All the apartments have been tastefully finished, fully furnished and they have been endowed with TV sat, and their own heating system.Laundry room available for common use. BBQ.
Each unit has its own reserved space in the garden and by the swimming pool.
The quiet, hilly, panoramic area is only 2.5 kilometers from the beautiful medieval hamlet of Laterina.
The lodgings enjoy countryside privacy, close proximity to the attractions and the amenities of Arezzo and they are the ideal base for many excursion in all Central Italy. Firenze, Siena, Cortona, lake Trasimeno,Perugia and Assisi are not so far away; since there are good motorways and rail links with the rest of Tuscany .The shopping lover will find nearby many outlets of the most famous fashion brands : such as Prada, Gucci, Fendi, D&G and many others.
The area is full of nice restaurants, where you can taste the typical Tuscan cuisine.
Supermarket, bank, pharmacy,food stores, grocery, one nice restaurant is in Laterina, another nice one in Pergine Valdarno both only 2.5 km from the house. More stores and a supermarket are in Levane, Ipermarkets and every kind of stores are in Montevarchi and Arezzo.

The train station to go to Florence is 7 km from the house with free parking , all our guests have appreciated very much this facility, since it allows to visit Florence ( even every day ) and come back in the evening and relax in the quiet surrounding of our house. Borgo Santa Maria in Valle is the ideal place to spend a relaxing or cultural holiday all year around; your stay in this lovely country house environment will be memorable.
